Classical PPS systems determine consumption by calculating the difference between deliveries and stocks. The problem here is that the time intervals available for an analysis are of the order of weeks or even months. With the KROMI logistics systems, the necessary basic data can be determined directly from the production process. A comparison of the consumption with the actual part output at the machines permits a monitoring of the tool life, which in turn enables a detailed process evaluation. The KROMI online statistics module allows all tool consumption to be accurately identified according to its source and cause and presented in the form of meaningful indicators.
